| Network Cultures' friends of IGGRI organized with KEPA an
important international conference in Finland. We are happy to offer to
our readers both our own version of some of the highlights of this
gathering, and the " Hanasaari Statement " which was drafted by some of
its participants. You will find quotes by Orlando Falls Borda
(Colombia), Majid Rahnema (Iran-France), Suzan George (USA), Sulak
Sivaraksa (Thailand). From Nepal, we have a remarkable text by a new
friend, Dipak Gayawali.
If you can master French, you will be rewarded by reading Raimon Panikkar's formidable and provocative texts on religion : Europe needs a religion but old-style christendom will not do. What is needed is total " resurrection " … That is also what the present world order needs ! Why not
start working at it this spring ? By changing our habits, acting
